Actor Robert Vaughn, best known for playing suave spy Napoleon Solo in The Man From UNCLE, has died at age 83, according to the BBC.

Vaughn, a prolific actor on stage, TV and the big screen, is also known for his role as a skittish gunman in 1960’s The Magnificent Seven and a war veteran in 1959’s The Young Philadelphians.
