Radio and television personality Mike Bullard’s criminal harassment case, stemming from allegations he stalked an ex-girlfriend, has been put over until Dec. 9 in Toronto.
His ex-girlfriend is identified in a published report as CityNews reporter Cynthia Mulligan.
Neither was in court on Wednesday when the new date was set.
According to court documents obtained by CTV News, Bullard was charged on Sept. 21 after allegedly calling and text messaging his former girlfriend numerous times.
Bullard’s lawyer, Arthur Stern, told The Canadian Press that the charges are a matter of public record, but said he has no instructions from his client to comment.
The Toronto Star first reported the allegations against Bullard and listed the charges as criminal harassment, obstruction of justice and breaching conditions to stay away from Mulligan.
The Star quotes Bullard as saying the charges stem from a “bad breakup” and it is a “very personal thing.”
The newspaper says Mulligan is out of the country and unavailable for comment.
